OUR MISSION
Black Girls Lead Too is a leadership and wellness initiative dedicated to advancing educational equity, literacy, and community empowerment for Black women and girls. Through culturally grounded programs, storytelling, and transformative learning experiences, we create pathways for Black girls to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and drive social change in their communities.
Our WHY
Black Girls Lead Too exists to support Black girls and young women (ages 14–24) during critical identity-forming years when leadership, belonging, and self-determination are often unsupported. By integrating education, wellness, economic sovereignty, and storytelling, we address a key gap in leadership and identity development that, if left unaddressed, contributes to long-term mental and physical health inequities.
